JD and the Shout is a high-energy, guitar-driven band blending rock, pop, and country influences into a dynamic sound that spans decades—from the 1950s to the 2000s. Known for their infectious performances and tight vocal harmonies, the band creates a nostalgic, sing-along experience that brings any crowd to life. Beyond their music, JD, Bill, and Larry are passionate about fundraising for their community.
The goal was to craft a brand identity that reflected the band’s vibrant personality and timeless appeal. Inspired by their love for music and the iconic 1968 Firebird—an unofficial band mascot—I designed a logo incorporating a guitar motif and nods to the Firebird's classic design. Alongside the visual branding, I developed a marketing strategy focused on growing the band’s business through website traffic, newsletter signups, and versatile marketing collateral. The result is a cohesive and engaging identity that captures JD and the Shout’s essence and supports their mission of creating unforgettable events and meaningful connections.
